cleaning engine coolant leakage

i recently installed the isothermal kit, didnt put one of the hoses back on far enuf (one that faces downwards), and the engine coolant sorta leaked for 2 days.
now that area underneath it is all green and dried up. smells when i'm standing next to the car.
what can i spray it with to clean that mess? i dont want to take apart the plenum assembly to get to leakage if possible.
any precautions i shud take while cleaning it?

thanks in advance

Plain old water ought to clean it up just fine. If you have a cat and it walks thru wet anitfreeze....you have a dead cat because they will lick their paws. The antifreeze will kill a cat for sure!
