Best Tuning shop in northeast area?

I've always been wanting to get my ECU reflashed. I only know one place that can do that, which is Technosquare in CA. The only thing that has been holding me up is the fact that I have to send my ECU to CA. So, I was wondering if anyone in this board know where is the best place to get the ECU reflashed in the Northeast area. Someone told me about a place called xxtuning (www.xxtuning.com), they use UNICHIP and it's very expensive. the chip costs about $750 and another $250 to get it tuned. Technosquare dose not cost that much.
So, if anyone here knows another place, that would be great.

Thanks alot guys.

I am doing some research, as I heard that an ECUTEK unit (TurboXS seems to be following me from my STi days) has been released for the 350Z/G35. I was reading that a shop over here, MRC Motorsport, in NJ states the ECUTEK is more tuneable than any other unit that is out. Plus, if you ever go turbo, can also be utilized. I know they also has this mountable unit to change between 5 programmed maps, on the fly. I think it was priced around $950-1050, don't know if that is tuned or untuned.

Technosq basically reflashes or reprograms your stock ECU. If you read up a bit on it, some people swear by it, others regret it. Seeing as we are on the East Coast, unless I can drive to cali and have techno reflash my ECU and tune it there, I wouldn't do it at all. NOtto mention the down time.

Basically they remap your stock ecu mased on what worked on other cars with similar mods. From what I read, it's still a crap shoot!

Your other option is Altered Atmosphere in Maryland. They basically do the same thing as technosq.

As mentioned above, I would contact MRC. When you take into account the TECHNOSQ costs like 600ish or something, plus express and insured shipping, plus if the shipper loses your ECU...YOU ARE SCREWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWED!!!, I would opt for a piggy back unit that can be tuned to my exact car, not someone elses. Not to mention, I believe there is going to be a world of difference between the gains you get from TECHNOSQ vs the piggyback unit.

Yes exactly, I really dont like the idea that I have to send the ECU to CA.
I emailed MRC and they said that the retail price for ECUTEK is $1100. Is that price reasonable? How much HP gain should I get?
I can get a set of crawford headers for that price, and if I remember correctly, the gain from crawford headers is pretty impresive.
