Well, as long as this doesn't cost TOO much, then it would be worth it. I am still waiting on the results on Headers and Exhaust. I'm not yet convinced the gain with the Headers and Exhaust are what they claim. Intake so far is more trouble then it's worth. I've seen way too many "drop in torque", or "stalled car while drving". So, I'll leave that one alone.

My guess is they swapped on the 03/04 lower intake manifold in place of the Rev-up lower manifold and added a spacer. The reason I guess this because the powerband emmulates the 03/04 powercurve as does the drop in power at ~6,200rpms.

hmm, they end up with significantly less power after 6-6.5k rpms than they had before.. tq gains look good though.

Well, if that's all they did, then I'm not as excited. However, with this one mod, does it increase the HP & Torque beyond that of a 03-04 with the same mod (i.e. 03-04 with spacers)? According to the header, 05's gain some about 18 whp and 22/29 torque? So, that will make the 05's 40 more hp and about 10 more lbs. or torque than a stock 03-04?

So, to sum it up, with this one mod alone, the 05's will have quite a bit more HP and torque then the 03-04's with the same mod?

Interesting, those are some really good gains. Probably the best I have seen that wasn't FI. Is this gonna be a bolt-on mod?

The mods gains HP over what the 05s dyno stock. So lets say like mine dynoed 253 hp and 231 tq. It should dyno around 265-270 and 240 tq~. So basically your gaining a great deal of power over the 05 already making it even a more powerful car with this mod. But one key factor in this mod is the power you get in the midrange where MOST cars need for driveability. The article will be in sportz magazine in the next few weeks. Until then we can't annouce what the mod is.

I will say now that my 05 is a much more of a beast than my 04 was ever. I might need to buy new tires soon due to it!

I spoke to Tony about 2 weeks ago. I was calling to order a spacer. He told me not to bother, but to wait. He said he couldn't tell me because of the pending mag articel in Sport Z.

In my anxiousness, I ordered a subscription to Sport Z!

These dynos look nice. The drop off at high rpms has me curious. My thought is that Tony must have some sort of changed lower manifold with longer runners. Longer runners could cause a powerband shift like that.

..................I will continue to speculate!!! and wait!!!

Man, I hope it does what you have there in the Dyno! On another note, I'm surprised no 03-04 owners have been yelling "BS! My Brembo is so much better" Hehe.

This sounds very promising. I can't wait until the news is unveiled. Hmmm . . . looks like another potential mod on the horizon.
