z-tube question..

i just installed today my z-tube ans stillen air box!! the sound is amazing!! i have a question,ive seen many warnings reguarding the ac line,i was wondering what i can place on it to protect it..

if it doesnt rub now it wont rub later.. your z-tube is bolted to the plenum and your air box is bolted to the car

I have the same setup...The Z-tube does not allow the AC line to be rubbed. But I went ahead and covered the A/C line with a plastic sleeve. You should have no worries!

I used this type on conduit to protect my AC line.
You can find it at any local hardware store.

did you install the one bottom bolt for the Stillen is supposed to be so hard to install or did you just leave it uninstalled?

btw, can you explain the stillen sound more cuz Im thinking of getting it also....is there that spooling/whistling sound?

Which hole did you use for the Stillen box? Post up a pic and we can tell you if it's too close to the AC line.

i'm assuming he has ur stillen air box, if thats the case he shouldnt have any ac line issues since the hole i drilled keep it bout an inch away

That is what I used. I bought it at The Home Depot....

Oh ****. When I bought my popcharger the bracket was missing, so the guy is sending it. For know the ztube and popcharger are resting on that! Is it really fragile?
