High Pitched Sound! Please Help!

My fiance has a g35 2003, and it got in a major accident, ironically by the body shop person..who is a family friend.

Neways, the whole passenger front side got crushed (a direct hit into the tire and engine area).

Thus, the car was reconstructed by him..doing a shotty job too.

HERE is the problem: when the car is stopped..and when it hasn't moved for a while, when the car is started, there is this high pitched squeeling sound (imagine 2 pieces of mental rubbing against one another). its happens occasionally, on and off. Its has been hard to replicate.

I don't think it an air problem, what else can it be?

One dealer said her A-frame was cracked..whatever that is....what do you guys think?

uhh wow.

the family "friend" wrecked the car, and then did a crap job of fixing it? Tell him his work is not good enough, and that you'll take it to another shop (at his expense) if he doesnt fix it.

The hgih pitched squealing... sounds like belts to me. That's an easy fix. But make sure that the car rides like it did prior to the accident at ALL speeds. My sister's celica never got fixed quite right, and it has this horrible vibration at highway speeds.
