Torco SR-5 synthetic oil

Torco SR-5 synthetic oil

I just switched to these engine oil after 2000km. Anyone have any experience or comments with these?

I've used it...can't say I can see the benefits of using it over other brands like amsoil and mobil 1, they all seem to be the same to me. I'd have to send a sample to blackstone to get a finer answer.

thx for chiming in 636. I'm even having a hard time feeling a significant difference between the first, stock oil that came with a new car from the Torco SR-5.

Changed at 2100km

Which is normal. Unless the oil is of a different viscosity, or switching from a low performing oil to a high performing synthetic oil, it is unlikely to actually feel any difference. The difference can instead be reduced engine wear, improved fuel economy, reduced maintenance and repair costs, lower emissions, etc.
