Need advice...problem screw broke.

I was installing my 1/2 plenum spacer with ISO thermal gasket...when i was putting the lower plenum back together, and i guess there was a malfuntion in the torque wrench i bought and it ended up torqeing my intake maknifold collector screw too much and cracked it, i was wondering is it safe to put my engine back together until i get the screw or should i just wait and not risk having one screw not in?

Ouch! Hmmm . . . That's 1 of 6 bolts, which bolts down the lower collector directly to the intake manifold. If it were me, I'd wait til I got a replacement bolt and avoid a potential problem. Good luck! ;)

Btw . . . Just to be sure, you used an inch-lb. torque wrench with a final setting of 100 inch-lb., right?

yes i used an 1ch lb torque wrench...somethign was wrong with the wrench, it wasnt it was a cheap one that has like a needle type of deal and the needle moves accordingly to how much the bolt is torqued.. the hell wiht that one.. i just bough another one.
