Is RWHP different from WHP? Maybe thats it?
Wouldn't a heavier mass on the end of something spinning put more stress than something lighter?
And I agree. The amount of hp gained (perceived or not) would be dependent on the gear used.
So gains might not show up on a dyno as you usually dyno in a gear close to 1:1. Unfortunately, the gains from an UDP would be in the lower gears. ie.. in the gears not used when being dyno'd

whats so disappointing about 236?
i mean realistically, thats to the ground. we all know the car is rated at 260/270/280 HP to the crank.
you actually have to factor in transmission losses as well.
236 to the wheels is a decent amount of power, especially when your actually in the car...
unless you are just out to try and impress people with large numbers....
i mean dont get me wrong, but it seems like on most forums most people just look at the numbers themselves and not really the actual performance or power to weight ratio of the car.
