Painting Engine Hoses?
Painting Engine Hoses?
i know you can buy Samco hoses, but those are a little expensive for just hoses. has anyone tried painting there hoses? or wires in the engine? would a engine hi-temp enamal work?
w/ flex & heat, think it would look good for a day at most and then crumble.
Look into covers...maybe this.

you really can't paint rubber hoses without just having the paint crack and flake off
the Samco hoses aren't just for looks (although they do look hot) but they're silicon versus the stock black rubber so they're more durable and resilient. like others have said, if you wanna make your hoses colored without dropping the $150 or so on the samco's, get some colored wire loom or colored flex sleeve

And I wouldn't look at the full cost of the Samco type hoses, only the cost difference between those and whatever other route you're considering. Considering how much nicer they look, the small difference in cost might not seem so bad.
