need advice- spacer install problem
Well, it happened... and I was extra careful about it too.
I was in the middle of my MD spacer install, finished replacing the gasket above the intake manifold, proceeded to torque down the 1st bolt and SNAP! This happened even with using an inch-lb torque wrench. Went to 2 Home Depots and thought I had a close enough size on a bolt I found but it was too thick when I got home to try it out. I'm guessing my only option is to order a replacement thru the dealer (which means my car will be out of commission for a few days). Any other suggestions?

You may try going without the "7th" long bolt, the one that goes near the throttle body on the rear driver's side of the plenum. Use this bolt to repace the center one you broke. Only until you get a replacement though. I would be less worried about going without that one since you have closely spaced bolts to either side.
This 7th bolt should be the same size as the center ones.
