The picture you have posted shows "license on ECU".. which means that the cable has NOT been unmarried and there is no license on the ECU

Yes. You can use this cable with any supported vehicle (G35, 370z, Titan, G37, etc etc) but you need a tune. It doesn't come with any

 

But do I need to buy a base tune ($250) or etune from uprev.com to use this cable on my g37?

 

You don't have to get it from uprev directly but you will need to pay for tuning from someone. If you don't have a tune already uprev charges $250 for the base tune and a couple etunes, more etunes can be purchased for $50 each.

Or you can get etunes from one of their protuners
