Looking for an 05-06 6MT ECM

Trying to get a hold of an ECM for a Revup car. Bonus points if it’s already tuned, and I can get it flashed

but a stock one would still be fantastic. Let me know what you have!

Best bet is to buy one from eBay.

You're practically guaranteed not to find one that already has an uprev license on it.

Look up the MEC number on yours, make sure it's an exact match.

thanks for that. I’m trying to avoid EBay because of some practices I don’t care for, and high fees, but it may come to that!

sadly, I’ve seen several across the Facebook groups over the last couple of months, but I didn’t pull the trigger. Now I definitely need one

I've got several 5AT but no MT... when you get it you will need to either have it flashed with Uprev to bypass NATS, or get it reprogrammed at the dealership before you can use it. Let me know if you need help with the Uprev part!

I appreciate the comment! This will be my first time dealing with uprev tuning, but I’ve had a lot of tuned cars to deal with

having to get a new ECM because of a p2135 that will not clear, and have spent a couple thousand trying to get it sorted by the dealer.. And now they say it needs an ECM because a circuit is fried

Email/PM me anytime if you have questions about how it all works. With Uprev we can just bypass NATS if you want, don't have to do a full tune if you don't want to (altho it makes a big difference)... once NATS is bypassed you can just plug in the new ECU and off you go. No need to even leave your driveway.

That code is usually the gas pedal switch, APP - Accelerator Pedal Position.

Sometimes it's the throttle body but I'd say 9/10 times it's the APP.

Each of those sensors is actually TWO sensors, one sends a voltage of 0.1v - 5v, the other sends 5v - 0.1v. So they're inverse of one another, that way the computer knows if one of the switches actually fails. It compares the APP and TP data from all four sensors (APP1 to TP2, and APP2 to TP1) to one another and if there is a difference between one of them it throws that "rationally incorrect value" code.

Have they actually REPLACED both the APP and TP?

I have actual replaced the APP, and throttle body, and IPDM, and checked the harness to make sure nothing was broken, or any bad pins. Then I took it to the dealer to get a second opinion before I threw more money at the car

all voltages were in spec per the FSM when I went through it, but the dealer says that the power feed from the ECM drops out randomly, and it needs to be replaced

Yeah sounds like it's an ECM issue, disconnect the battery, take it out of the car, take the cover off to expose the circuitry, and look for anything obviously damaged. Verify there's no corrosion on the pins for either side of the ECM harness as well.

If it all looks good I would install the ECM back into the car WITHOUT the cover on it, exposed circuit board, then see if the issue happens again, if it goes away then something is definitely overheating in the ECM.
