I have a generic pair of headers for the VQ35DE that I ran for about 6000 miles and had no issues with them at all. Welds are good and the flange is of decent quality. Forget what you heard, the install is not that hard. Asking $65 plus paypal fees.

Feel any gains? And what brand or they're eBay?

 

I bought them off of a google shopping search. Can't remember the store name. There are a bunch on Ebay too but I don't know about their quality. I ran these and know that they work fine.
