Kinetix HFC

Hello,
For sale are my USED Kinetix HFC. They are in perfect used condition. I bought them from a friend (he put around 3k miles on them). I also had them on my car for around 500 miles, and decided to go a different route.

I am asking $280.00 shipped

Let me know if there are other questions.

Thanks

- Resad

Bump ..... these sound very nice, and you do get noticeable gains through out rpm range ..... I noticed the most gains at higher rpm and at higher speeds, it pulls a lot easier/better in those situations.

Let me know if you guys need more pictures ......... btw, price is OBO

Did you or the the previous owner run forced induction with these? Also, can you post or send me a pic of the inside of the cats? What exhaust are you running and did you notice any rasp?

Thanks

I will take some pics of the inside, its basically white 'mesh', looks very clean ..... no forced induction ...... I had it with Megan racing catback and HR-Ypipe ...... rusp? do you mean small 'back-firing' sounds when letting go of the acceleration pedal?

Best way I can describe rasp is this metal rattle or buzzing sound when the exhaust hits a certain note/rpm. Happens either on acceleration or letting off the gas. Rasp occurs on various exhaust setups, so one setup may result in rasp, another may not. In any case, you got PM. let me know. thanks

aaah I see ....... there wasn't anything like that, it sounded quite nice ...... i did experiences something like that when i first put them on, but then realized that the HFC was touching my driver side heatshield .... so I bent the heatshield a bit and pulled the cat down (towards the ground), and the noise went away.

Are kinetix sedan & coupe HFC different?

Asking because these look nothing like the ones I received in the mail.

When did they make the change? Any differences other than the heatshield. Cell count the same?

Not sure, but I know for sure that every set I've seen since last year has been the new ones. Not sure on the cores either, just that they come in completely redesigned outsides. A lot sleeker cleaner look

Yeaa, these are fist gen .......... if looks are what you are after, than new design is the way to go (tho, these are only visible from underneath the car, pretty sure you're not going to see them much after the install hehe) ........ I my self cared more about hp, so these did perfect for a lot less $
