I am in Chicago and the midpipe is rusted on my 2004 G35x Sedan. I want to replace it was the 2005 or 2006 Sedan midpipe.

Looking to keep the exhaust quiet and read that the best combination for a 2004 G35x sedan is to use a 2005/2006 midpipe with a 2004 muffler for that.

Anybody know if there is any difference between a 2004 G35x midpipe and a 2006 G35x midpipe (sedans)?
