Selling a used set of Berk HFCs that I pulled off my G a while back.
The driver side core (left in the pic) is blown and rattling around inside the pipe. Definitely no good anymore installed, but still worth at least $40 scrap.
The passenger cat has about 15k miles on it and still works perfectly. No cracks, core looks great, never threw up check engine light.

Selling for $125 shipped or $100 local pickup near Charlotte, NC. Let me know if you're in TN, GA, SC, or NC as I travel around the area fairly regularly.

Last chance if someone needs a passenger side HFC or wants to hollow these out for some non-fouling test pipes, otherwise I'm probably scrapping these next week.

 

How did that material blow away? How did it sound? Did it rattle at all rpms?

 

No clue how or when it happened, but when it was loose I heard a weird metallic rattle when dropping revs. It would hit right at the same rev range (like 3200 to 2800 or something) but not when climbing revs or keeping steady, only dropping. Makes sense it sounded like that since the core is essentially ping pong balling around in there...
