merge or formed? what's it look like under the wrapping (why did you warp those?). how many years of use?

 

Merged. They were recoated and wrapped. Bought it from friend. I never used it

 

It's definitely worth wrapping the upper section on the G35/350Z, it's so tight in that area and your clutch line runs very close to it plus the wiring harness for the tranny (not nearly as bad as the clutch line), plus HEAT is the biggest issue in the engine bay of any VQ35DE so doing everything you can to keep the heat from radiating out of the exhaust is worth the effort.
