I traded my 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan and I didn't get the chance to even install these, so the valve covers are for sale. They are the refurbished valve covers which already have the 'custom' grommets installed that will prevent oil from leaking in and flooding your spark plugs. Buying brand new covers that have not been modified by R&D will leak through again down the road, so this is a more permanent solution.
R&D Factory VQ Ready To Install kit.

*Refurbished kit is $320 Shipped to lower 48.
*This option is only available for G35 & 350Z

- R&D Factory 6 spark plug grommets.

- Nissan OEM Valve Cover Gaskets Both (right and left).

- NISSAN OEM PCV VALVE.

- NISSAN OEM PCV VALVE O-ring seal.

When I received the covers, I didn't notice one of the plastic tubes was snapped. The part circled in red (below pic) has been re-welded and made stronger with additional plastic, so it should be even stronger now than before. It will be covered by your engine cover anyways, so no one will see it:

*** Just noticed I wrote my userID as R1 instead of R6 - which I use both on other forums - hope the mods won't mind as valve covers have been packed and are ready to be shipped.

Sorry for the late reply. I'm not on here every day and I just got my G35 notification.

Yes, this kit is the 'Install Ready' kit. All you have to do is take your old covers off, and install these and viola! Once you buy these, you might be able to get $130 back for your 'undamaged' cores from R&D. They are currently out of the cores, so they don't have any refurbished kits available at the moment.

Also wanted to clarify some questions. R&D offers two types of kits:
1) DIY kit includes all the parts you need to perform this permanent fix. Grommets and the seals for the covers are provided, but you have to drill out bigger holes in your covers and then install the grommets yourself.
2) Install Ready kit includes already refurbished Valve Covers (cores) which the above work has already been performed by R&D techs.

Btw, the seals are for the Valve covers - you need to replace your old ones once you take your own covers off.

^ Sure. They are a member/sponsor on the forum. Try PM'ing "R&D Factory" . Might want to try their phone number I found in my old inbox messages 323.888.8891, but I'm not sure if it's still an active line.
