Hey i bought the furookie intake that you guys shared me, and i have one question about it. The maf sensor seems to face down to the ground once everything is installed, instead of facing upwards like the oem, is this correct?

Yes that is correct, It was designed like that to hide the MAF Sensor and give it a cleaner look.

Thanks for the confirmation^^. Now im gonna wait until i tune the car so that i install it right before taking it to the dyno. I heard it makes the car run super lean if not tuned

Yes a tune would be necessary. I've seen countless posts for advice after installing the furookie intakes.

Thank you sir for your contribution, it is greatly appreciated. I already have the intake tube, now i just need the 3.5" air filter, but i'm in no rush because i got to wait until i tune it.

Yeah I am in the same boat as you. I have a long list of mods on the way and this one in particular is one I would like to have. I almost bought it from outcast, but at check out the price went from an innocent $285 to the upper$7xx range.. I have to figure out a new way of attaining this.
