Looking to purchase a stock intake o pass smog for my g35.

Looking to purchase a stock intake o pass smog for my g35.

i purchased a used g and it already had a k&n intake and i have to get smogged but it won't pass with that intake i believe

or i have two friends who have g35s i can probably ask them to let me borrow it no? there's is 03 i believe and mines an 05 would that matter?

That would work just fine for passing smog, if you still want to purchase one let me know i have a few complete stock intakes

Why wouldn't it pass smog? That doesn't make sense. Do you have an engine light on? You have a MAF plugged in right? There's no reason it wouldn't pass smog.

In fact even in CA (toughest smog there is), they don't even test the cars manually a lot of the time anymore. They just plug into the ecu and read the computer. No reason it shouldn't pass as long as you don't have a CEL.

I have a stock one I can sell u. $25 if u pick it up. I'm located in so cal. 909 area

It will fail on the visual inspection portion of the smog unless its oem or has a CARB sticker on it.
As a matter of fact the k&n one might even have the sticker. op post a picture

K&N and see if they'll issue you a CARB sticker for their intake! Cost is zero and your issues solved...Gary

All K&Ns should have a carb sticker.

But again, they have never opened my hood.

Here in Ca. STAR smog test stations are **** about visual inspections even though they no longer do the sniffer test! Liberal azz wipes in Sacramento make new laws every time someone farts in Kansas or was the Oklahoma?
