Why wouldn't it pass smog? That doesn't make sense. Do you have an engine light on? You have a MAF plugged in right? There's no reason it wouldn't pass smog.
In fact even in CA (toughest smog there is), they don't even test the cars manually a lot of the time anymore. They just plug into the ecu and read the computer. No reason it shouldn't pass as long as you don't have a CEL.
