Treadstone Turbo kit G35/350Z VQ35DE 5AT/6MT

$3000 OBO Shipped + PayPal fees

located in Dallas TX

Bought new from and professionally installed at Jotech Motorsports and only used for less than 5,000 miles on turbo kit. Turbo is a water/oil cooled. Turbo has been taken off and REBUILT not due to failure but just as precaution from treadstone themselves (still under warranty). Kit comes with all major hardware (all cold side piping, hot side piping DEI wrapped, intercooler/intercooler fans if wanted to use, t60-1 ball bearing turbo, BOV, open waste gate 7-8lbs spring). All clamps, v bands, couplers are included. Includes hardware to bolt up. If extra hardware is needed it can easily be ordered from treadstone website or sub at local hardware store. Steal lines are included and silicone hose.

Downpipe has an O2 bung welded already so you can mount a wide band AFR sensor. Not included but I have 2 innovative motorsport gauges if interested (oil pressure/oil temp & boost and AFR).

NOT INCLUDED injectors and fuel pump. Can be ordered from treadstone or use any other aftermarket injector and pump.

Selling due to my piston rings being fried on the motor so going back to stock.

New kit retails for $4750+ before tax and shipping.

Feel free to text for questions (469)268-7605

All the clamps, v-bands, couplers (missing a few because they are hard to take off the pipe) screws, turbo oil and water plugs.

steal line and plugs

high quality turbo blanket with turbo manifold gasket and silicone hose for BOV and plenum/intake

intercooler with module

very clean no dents. note fans can be takes off

Turbo has no shaft play at all. Rebuilt and NEW!

Seal is new. Looks oily because uninstall when tested.

all cold side piping

Pipes from each exhaust manifold going up to turbo with open waste gate

Downpipe and exhaust pipe with o2 bung ready for Wideband AFR

Failed attempt of trying to organize it as if on car.

What happened to the bolt face casting on the exhaust-side impeller? Did the motor kaboom and shoot part of the piston ring through the turbo?

The motor didn’t go kaboom. The car was just shooting a lot of blue smoke when only under boost. You can find my thread I started a few weeks back asking the forum about it (on my350z and here). I thought it was the turbo seal so I had it sent to Treadstone for repair. Treadstone tested and said everything was still good but went ahead and rebuilt the turbo for me. Once I got it back I tested it in the car but still blue smoke only under boost so the auto shop did a compression test and one cylinder came back at 105 while the rest was 175+. I knew then one of my rings were done. So pulled the turbo and this where I am at.

As as for the bolt face casting on the exhaust side impeller, what’s wrong with it?

It looks in the photo like one point of the hex is shaved off, might be just a wierd trick of the light or something. Sorry to hear about that piston ring

On Treadstone's website the kit is selling at $3700. Does that not include shipping and handling or the warranty?

I've seen this on alot of turbos. It is done to balance the rotating assembly.

Makes sense, that's about the only point you could remove material from.

3700 is before shipping and handeling and does not include fuel system.

what I quoted was fuel system included with a ball bearing turbo upgrade.

ill be throwing in gauges as well to sweeten up the deal.
