Vortech Support Brace+Rod

Hey all. Made my own version of the Vortech support brace and have had several people say they wanted me to make them one. The only version that has hit the market of these was the timrod but they have been getting more difficult to find and we quite expensive (~$250), hence why I have decided to make my own version.

What is it? Support rod that eliminates the bracket flexing under load on Vortech Supercharger setups. It is very common (inevitable) for the bracket to flex under acceleration, this occurring can often cause the serpentine belt to snap/shred entirely from becoming misaligned. Even on cars that don't suffer from this extreme of a consequence, the bracket flex can cause damage overtime shortening the lifespan of the belts as well as placing necessary strain on other components.

What cars will it fit? Any vortech supercharged g35 coupe (2003-2007) and g35 sedans (2003-2006).

How much is it? $180. This price includes everything detailed below and this price covers shipping and PayPal fees!

What comes in a kit? A semi-polished (304 Stainless Steel) bracket, an adjustable support rod with hemispherical rod ends, 1/4" thick hardened steel elbow bracket, as well all hardware needed to install the kit.

I'm happy to answer any further questions. If you happen to be local (Perkasie, PA), then we can save money on shipping costs. Additionally, the elbow brackets are standard off-the-shelf brackets that I grind down by hand to fit our applications, because of this the elbow bracket will be bare steel which is completely fine, however, if you prefer I can paint this bracket black rather than it having a bare sanded finish (see photos below for both options).

Bumping this as I've just shipped a couple of kits out to buyer's and still have a couple in my garage. Likely not going to be able to have more of these made for a while because of the COVID shutdown

WTB Brace Rod Kit

Hey! Looking to buy one sent to 20121, USA

Im having a belt slip issue after 5K rpm even with the GTM pulley mod and a Gates belt. Also checked tension on my cog belt. This should help address that issue as I noticed that its flexing pretty hard. Going to do this in combination with my motor mounts to hopefully fix the issue.

I don't think the message I sent you has gone through. If you're still interested in one of these, please send me an email at craig12895@gmail.com
