did the stock 350z have a clean filter for the dyno?

otherwise changing to a new filter could have resulted in the +10 hp

even the stock system have risk of getting hydrolock...it all depends on the depth of the water. but by looking at where the filter is located, you have to be a complete moron to get hydro lock...like driving into a lake or something.
