ACT Stage 1, 2, 3 Packages with Flywheels | THMotorsports
It seems to many people on here are getting clutches they don't need. We started our OEM Clutch/ACT Flywheel combo for those looking for more power to the wheels but keep OEM reliability. Now, its time we do this with ACT clutches. Too many of you are getting Heavy Duty clutches and stiff feet for applications that do not need it. To simply things, we have made a ACT "Stage" Package with flywheels. These packages will break down into mods,torque capacity, and recommended driving style. We think ACT should have done this a while ago.
Stage 1 Package:
Mods: Pop Charger, exhaust, intake, headers, ECM Tuning, Cams
Clutch: Heavy Duty with Street Disc (455lb torque capacity) + ACT 16.9Lb Flywheel
Driving Style: Heavy spirited driving with occasional launches. Great for Road Racing.

Stage 2 Package:
Mods: Pop Charger, exhaust, intake, headers, ECM Tuning, Cams or Turbocharged/Supercharged with base tune at 9lbs of boost or less
Clutch: Heavy Duty w/6 puck sprung disc (582lb torque capacity)
Driving Style: Heavy spriited driving and multiple launches. Great for drag racing, or competitive road racing

Stage 3 Package:
Mods: Built Engine, Turbo/supercharger, over 10lbs of boost
Clutch: Carbonetic twin disc (yes its not an ACT)
**the rule of thumb is if your over 550ft torque, with the VQ you need to go to a twin or triple disc.***
Torque Capacity: 700-1000ft Lb Torque
Driving Style: Anything with a really powerful car
