Team Rare JDM at Redline Time Attack Practice Day
Sorry, originally posted in the wrong section ![Icon43](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/icon43.gif)
Yesterday we went out the Buttonwillow for the Redline Time Attack practice day. Both me and Gabe (05 6mt sedan) tracked our cars, and had a great time. It was Gabe's first track event, and by the end of the day he was flying around the track. This was the first event where I got to use my new track wheels, track tires (Nitto NT05), Nismo LSD, and Zeal's. Everything worked great once we got the tires at the right pressure and the coil dampening set right. The tires grip like crazy once they heat up, and even when they start to slide they are very predictable and easily controlled. I love em! Also got a chance to test out our differential cooler with a very aggressive Nismo LSD. We were running 20 minute sessions in about 80 degree heat, and never had a problem with the diff or fluid boiling over. Seems like the cooler works pretty well![Smilie](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks again to Darren and Dave for coming out with the support vehicle! I know Darren has a bunch of pics of Gabe's car as well, so hopefully he posts em up.

Yeah, we've been talking about it for awhile now... just been too busy with the other projects. We'll be doing a little more testing at future track events, as I'm sure the weather will only be getting hotter.
You can see it in the lower right... although it's going to be more centered to fit with dual exhaust setups. It's controlled with an external pump, and can be set to turn on by thermostat, or by switch. I just use the switch since I only use it on track.
