Weather currently shows isolated T-storms and high of 69. Hopefully the forecast will change. The park area does have covered seating in the BBQ area, so we can stay dry.

 

Since I work for the City of Richardson, I called the parks department. The pavillion (under cover) is available before 1pm. It is booked for the rest of the day & evening. So I reserved the pavillion from 11am-1pm. We need to be OUT OF THERE by 1pm. Plenty of parking. He suggested taking our own grill if you wanna cook out since the grills there r kinda nasty....

 

oh sweet...so I guess we're changing the time to 11am-1pm. We can still be in the parking lot, but not under the pavillion. thanks for the hookup Hal!

Well, this is all dependant on if someone brings a grill.

maybe I should cook the burger patties ahead of time.

 

Or instead of going through all the trouble why doesn't everyone bring a few bucks and we can all just order pizza.

It kind of defeats the whole BBQ thing but I am cool with that.
