And maybe I read it wrong, but I thought the rule with TDE was no greens for Eagles Canyon...oh well...sucks that you cant make it out.

I don't know if I can have my car ready by March 29th ... still need tires, rotors, and new pads along with a radiator flush and check the Power Steering. Heck I could probably use some new plugs too!
TWS is definatly worth the 3 hour drive and one nite in a hotel room. It is by far my favorite track (so far). If you ever want to go down to TWS perhaps we can go a day early so I don't have to wake up a 3am to make a 3 hour drive and we can split a room for 2 nights.
I'm annoyed that I can't make it to the TDE event at ECR, as I'm a novice.. so I have to catch the May TDE event, where the weather will be hotter
I was hoping to find another event event beofre march 29'th so I could still join

But this sucks. My tire pressure was low today. 'Bout 22psi. I topped the low tire off. Hopefully it was just a fluke, some punk kid messing with me. These tire are relatively new but just used enough that I don't think I could change one side.
I've got a few backup plans.
A) Patch the tire and run on it (cost ~25$)
B) Mount my old tires that still have a little life in them (cost ~40$)
C) Buy one new PS2 (Cost 375$)
D) Buy two new PS2's (Cost 750$)
Right now I'm leaning towards patching it and running one weekend. May be tough to get the PS2 I would need on such short notice.
Oh well just ranting. Hopefully all will be well tomorrow morning.
Well damn ... your 245/40/19's are more expensive than my 275/35/19's!!! I think you can get those PS2's a lot cheaper than $375 but you might have to order them. Also, if you replace both rears are you completely stuck on staying with the PS2's? I'd say there are better tires out there for less money!
And just because your tire is low doesn't mean you have a hole in the tire ... all 4 of mine run low monthly, this is the joy of oxidation and aluminum rims!

I tried to shove a pair of RE01R's 275/35R19 onto the stock rear rims. But I had two mechanics try and fail.
Thats 375$ included mounting. I think they cost about 350$ a piece on Tirerack or Discount tire.
I'd love to find out if my 255/35R19 PS2 get more or less grip than the 245/35R19 RE01R's. I always end up fighting oversteer all day. I'm getting better at laying hard on the gas to straighten the car out coming out of the corner. But its harder to adjust for it at the corner entry. More straight line braking I suppose, but this car just doesn't want to stop once those brakes get hot.
Well the tire is defiantly cold right now at 40psi. If there is a large drop by tomorrow morning I'll know somethings up.
Sooner or later I'll pick up some 18" rims. There's a bit more brands and sizes to choose from in an 18" rim. Maybe I'll stick that on the list after the brake upgrade and seat upgrade.

Eagles Canyon
I went out to Eagles Canyon this Saturday and participated in the "Charity Drive-Around".
That is going to be a fun track. Especially since I was hitting 85 mph on just the drive-around.
Im just hoping the TDE event at the end of this month is DRY. I saw way too many cars getting the mud powerwashed off of them, after they went off the track due to water on the track.
PS...The email I got from TDE says they still have spots available for this event, if any of yall want to jump on.
