Small World! I personally know Pepe (CEO of Casa Noble) I've got boxes of his stuff sitting at my house! You know they just changed their bottle design from porcelain to all glass now, they should be htting Texas pretty soon. I've been to their hacienda and distillery tons of times, and not alot people know this, but he actually lives in Dallas, his kids go to a private school here, and he just bounces around from Mexico,Dallas and where ever he goes, we do luch at least 3 times a month. Shoot I've even got a Casa Noble sticker on my windshield, hands sown my favorite tequila!

OH SNAP! that is sweet! put me down on some bottles for sure! when i go to Mexico i can never find "good" tequila. depending on what town im in, they mostly say they really dont have a big demand for higher quality tequilas. makes somewhat sense because of economy. seriously, i want some bottles

For sure I'll put you down with some, one of each okay? As far as my private tastings, I normally have enough for a group of 20-30, mainly because I hate lugging a bunch of stuff around, I have to carry all the tequila glasses, which aren't heavy but since they are glass I have to be very careful, and then carrying the tequila, carrying 6+ bottles isn't necesarily lite weight, you know.

Since we're on the subject of tequila ... I've recently tried Tres Generaciones which replaced Patron Silver that I was having. The Tres was WAY better than the Patron in a margarita, so much that I have been drinking more margarita's just because I like how smooth the Tres is Now I dunno if this stuff is any good or not but it's definitely better than the Patron!

If you don't already know just about anything is better than Patron, TG's is good tequila, I personally won't drink that particular one straight, but it makes for a great margarita! Using 100% agve tequila instead of mixto's (Jose Cuevo gold,Sauza) makes a big difference. But to really enjoy tequila especially the small batch boutiques is to sip them straight @ room temp. in a reidel sipping glass. (not a shot glass, slamming it down) Man you haven't tasted real tequila unless you've tried it like that.

I'm down for this month. It's been a busy summer but finally slowed down a bit to relax. Keep me updated on date/place. I'm available all August.

This will be the first G meet with no G's. Everyone shows up in taxi cabs or a buddy's ride lookin' to get **** faced. Personally my liver is still in tequila recovery mode. I might stick to the brewskis. Nah screw it. Hit me!

After the last meet I had a brilliant (or at least I think it's a brilliant) idea.

How about a cruise to the site of the meet? The way I see it, people from the same regions of the DFW area can meet and then drive in tandem to the meet.

Like let's say we meet at that park we had the May meet at. The people from Ft. Worth would meet somewhere in the central Ft. Worth area while the people from Dallas met somewhere in the Dallas area.
