So, on the way home from the Alum Creek meet, I came up over a hill and tagged a raccoon doin 70....Thank God for poly bumpers...the raccoon caved it in bout the size of a bowling ball, but i was able to pop it back out, hopefully it can just be repainted and some brackets fixed and be good as new. Just got 3 weeks till HIN, so we'll see...

Just checked my calender, no military weekend and my daughter is on vacation with her mom that weekend...

Sooooo, that means Karen and I are in!

I dont mind showing off my ride even though it doesnt have the $$$ invested as some of you guys...so maybe mine can be used as a comparison tool!??!?! hehehe

That means I need my springs installed ASAP!!! Install meet needed!!!

Good to hear! The more the merrier, and we get to finally meet the G/f...ha! Dal is up in the air, and I should hopefully be able to get the bumper painted before then. Even if my bumper isn't painted, i will still go as a spectator...And Mike is lookin for a trailer, so should be a fun weekend...

"dollying" is usually using a two wheel car tow "dolly" that basically hooks on the back of the tow vehicle and puts the drive wheels up in the air. In our case, we could just put the front in the air and leave in rear in neutral, but Mike is an automatic, so he would need the rear up....this is what one looks like....

Oh... nope you cant use that. That is for sure man. You need a trailer. I am pretty sure you can rent one somewhere... Has to be.. That was my plan.. But i think i decided to drive since i have the clear bra and i didnt spend the money to not put it to use.

I am just scared of the Chicago roads and raccoons.............

You'll be okay, just map out your trip to avoid construction sites. I think my rims were bent at a spot where they grind a portion of the highway down and you go up from the grinded down portion and all of sudden bump up to the finished road. It was a really big bump at around 45-50mph and I'm pretty sure that's how and when it happened.
