Nice pics of the meet. Sorry I couldn't make it there last night. Was in the poker game at 7 which didn't end until around 9, and I was pretty tired then so I went home. Thought that the rain and thunder would scare away most from the BWW meet but I guess not. I'll remember that next time Veronica plans such a meet in similar weather conditions; this is proof she plans an excellent meet

Just curious, did any of you guys discuss planning a BBQ meet or some sort?

Thank you Doug, and every one else, for the compliments... I honestly had no idea that it was going to be such a big turnout, especially considering the weather, but I am very thankful for everyone that was able to make it the success that it was! And I missed those of you who were unable to make it!

I definitely think we should have meets like this every so often. And the BBQ is still an idea we need to work on setting up. Lets get it going!

Great turnout... I think us Jax peeps need to have a night meet.

 

The camera raises the ISO because there isn't enough light to make a proper exposure. If you set the ISO to 50 or 80, the camera will balance the exposure by lowering the shutter speed. That will cause blurry pictures. A DSL with a fast lens helps, but that's an expensive route to go...

The easiest, cheapest way to solve that problem is with a tripod, but who want to carry a tripod around all night and spend all that time on pictures that people look at for five seconds...
