Is it a bad area? Only problem seeing if we stay further away will be rides to and from the hotel.

Whats a good area to stay we will be coming and leaving on I-70 from Indy? So I can see if they have rooms available. Since most of us are rolling in on Friday there is really no need for rides then.

wait, is there another filipino in our club? I thought I was the token filipino! hahaha

Just kidding, I will second the notion of NOT staying the night near the fairgrounds. Even setting one up 10 miles in any direction would be worth it. The Fairgrounds is located near one of the lower income areas and crime is quite frequent near there. If you anyone coming, I would recommend staying around the Outerbelt. Dal Lives on the Northwest side, Ben Lives on the Southwest side, and I live on the South west side. Each of those areas are good areas and are really about 10-15 miles from the fairgrounds.

But those that BuckeyeG picked are good ones as well. Those coming in from the East, let me know and I will make some suggestions on some hotels this way.

Not really a member. just gonna show with you guys since a bunch of you showed with us up in Chicago.

Also I found some hotels west of Columbus. just west of the interchange of I-270 & I-70. Is that area good?

^ I stayed at the Red Roof there with a girlfriend before...its a lot better than near the fairgrounds! There I am sure you can request a ground floor room so you can sleep with your car right outside the window!
