Greetings Nissan Enthusiasts,

As I'm sure you can tell, DNE is really working to mix things up and try new places. We've gotten quite a bit of feedback and as stated in last month's meet post, we have developed a calendar that will be posted soon (I promise).

For August DNE will meet on the 8th and we will be meeting at II Brothers in Plano at 6:00pm. We like to push the time back a little in the summer months to avoid a little heat and still have some daylight for pictures. For those that have never been to II Brothers, it's a great restaraunt with good american food. They've also got a bar for those that care to partake in some "adult beverages."

um, of course i'm there...

 

ah...another Dallas/FORT WORTH meet in Plano yet again.

Sure wish these meets were a little more Fort Worth friendly.

 

Sorry buddy. Practically all of the regular members are on the dallas side. We'll get something in at least GP

 

Yah I understand, it's a catch 22...if the meets are hardly ever near FW, there's less likely a chance that FW ppl would become regulars. I mean I can't speak for others, but if there were meets closer to me I'd probably attend more often.

 

Like I said man, I will be sure to think more DFW for the planning of our future meets...

I will probably be there. I have been super busy, but I think I can make it out....

 

I'll try and stop by. Not to eat, just for introductions. It's about an hour away from me.

 

Hmmm.... gotta work and ufc 101 is on the 8th... definitely gonna be catchin it so i dunno if im down this time

 

lol, I feel ya... I'm not sure if II Brothers will be showing the fight, though they are the type of establishment that just might... good question

 

Yeah I totally forgot about the UFC on Sat. I'm gonna have to pass. If it wasn't so far away I would've liked to stop by and meat & greet. Hahaha!! Next time.

 

I will try to make it out. I will be leaving before the UFC fight starts to go watch it somewhere.. anyone interested in hitting some place up to watch the fight?

 

Adam, not sure if you saw the update on Nissan Forums, but everything is confirmed and they said they will not be showing the fight unfortunately. I will definitely start working on researching a place nearby that WILL be showing the fight we can relocate to. Or, perhaps I can talk to the manager and convince him to order the fight as we will make it up in alcohol sales.

 

Buffalo Wild Wings always show the fights. Fox and the Hound as well, but they usually charge a cover there.
