I'm a member to the370z.com forum. We got to talking about going to a local hockey game. And now its turned into a nice little event.

March 6th

Allen, TX . Exit Stacey from 75. Directly West
The new Allen American's CHL affiliate to the Dallas Stars. Like the Frisco Roughriders of Hockey. Every seat is close and good.

Show to take place before the game. There is a local Sports bar 50 yards away with a large parking lot. Nissan of McKinney is going be one of the Sponsors and will be bring out the *2010 GTR and NISMO Z.*(edit: not confirmed yet)

All Cars Welcome. There will be a car show with judges. Will post more details when available.

Many Z owners already commited, looking to see some nice Infinitis too.

Sweet. This thing kinda just suddenly blew up when he just talked to a Cust.Service manager for the hockey tickets trying to get a group deal. Its going to be pretty sweet.

Any more Gs thinking of coming?

Hey guys, I'll post up more details when I get them in here and on the 370 site.

not sure what nissan of mckinney is bringing, but I suggested a nismo and a GTR...but they may not have them in stock at the time of the show.

I would be happy to blast this out to the 109 current members of the DFW G group, sounds like a pretty cool event!

 

Allen American hockey games at the corner of 75 and stacy in Allen. Tickets, probably around $10 ea. Day will be Saturday, March 6th. Meet around 5:30 to 6 at Dodies Place that is right across the street from the game, grab a burger and some beer and then head over to the 7:30 hockey game to enjoy some violence and more beer.



BeerViper, I say we blow this **** up! We haven't had a G meet in like forever. If the inviting party is cool with turning this into a VQ extravaganza, let do what we can to rally the troops!

 

Yes, all cars are going to be welcome. Of course us Z guys love our fellow VQ cousins.

 

Sounds fun. I would love to attend. Nvr been to a hockey game.

Hell, if we get enough VQ's I'll split us into groups and have "Best Z" and "Best G" as categories

This sounds fun, I think i will attend.

 

If the car is back from GTM by then, maybe i'll make this the first showing with the new SC installed.

And just FYI, the 370Z SC system is complete, they will begin dyno testing for it soon. My car is about a week or two behind it and then we'll start seeing dynos on it as well.

The Allen Americans team is now going to sponsor a car-show along with Nissan of McKinney. Entrance fee to the car-show will also include a hockey ticket.

Show will be from 5:00 to 7:00 with the game starting at 7:30. It will be located in Dodies Place parking lot right next to the Allen Event Center at the southeast corner of highway 75 and Stacy Rd. Entry will be $27 for show, t-shirt, and a hockey ticket. Additional tickets to the game for spouses/friends are $17.

I am planning on being there between 4-4:30 to help setup and get my car in a prime spot. If you want to meet up early and grab a beer before so we can all setup next to each other then we can plan to be there at 4.
