I sent a note to Jared asking him if there is anything that we can do to help facilitate a more "VIP" status in the VIP lot. I'll let you guys know what I hear back and if we need to do anything extra (like show up early with arms crossed and big orange cones).

 

uh yeah... the VIP is such a joke now.

 

yeah, I have never seen it like that. I chalk it up to this being the first Monday of summer for kids in school (last week was their last week of school). that and the lack of cops = douchedom galore.

i really hope that Jared will let us come out and tell people to keep driving to the back...

 

Alright, it looks like things will be a LOT smoother next week - thanks to us!

I spoke with Jared and voiced some concerns that I had (and that we had). As a result, a few of us will now be working the VIP lot each Monday to ensure that the status is maintained. Since the sponsorship is transitioning from Rock-n-Rogers to Raising Canes, all of the funding (and cones, PA system, etc.) went away, along with the staff. As such, he was a one-man show tonight. I offered to help and he was very glad to hear it.

So, Dizzle and I will be going early each week to help along with a few of the other G guys. If you are interested in showing up early (6:40), let me know.
