+ 1 for Mellisa's comments. I'd love to make some of these, but just can't swing the hall down there on a Friday evening. Even Grapevine / Lewisville would help out us Northies some, and now that the George Bush is done, Addison is probably only another 10 minutes for you Southern guys. I know you guys have a nice thing going, but if we could move these events around a little we might get more people to show up. Granted, those who are the furthest away at any given meet, will most likely be left out, but the event should swing back arounnd their way eventually. Just a suggestion.

We did try this in the beginning, but Grapvine gets very crowded near the food establishments and we had a hard time parking together and it did not increase the size of our meets. The best thing about Pasados is the parking. It has some shade and we can all park together. I'm not dead set against trying it again but we would need a good place to meet.

 

I was talking to Kelly last night about having a BBQ party with some of my peeps in June at our house, because he FINALLY gets off this stinkin' weekend shift!!! I was looking at June 17th, and it wouldn't start until around 3pm. Would any of you guys be interested in driving to the sticks? ...besides JD... he loves coming out here!!!

 

I may be out of town that weekend, but if I'm here I would like to come out to the boonies. If you get this finalized you should start a new thread for a head count and let us know what we should bring. Thanks for thinking about us city folks.

 

I could do a June 17 drive to the sticks, but where is your closest gas station because I don't know if I can make that long journey on a full tank of gas!

 

So about me not being able to make next Friday's meet......Yeah I will be wakeboarding my happy a$$ off. Plus it's Mother's Day and all of that fun stuff so I am bugging out of town on Thrusday for that weekend of fun.

And yes the employer actually loosened the neuce for ONE DAY it is CRAZY!

 

I usually keep a spare can in my trunk so I can make it to town. Then, I fill up the car & tank so I can get back home...

 

When I finalize everything I will start a new thread. Anyone interested in coming, if you'd pm your email to me. I'll send out an Evite too.

 

It's going to rain furiously this weekend so you won't be wakeboarding much. And I can guarantee you that it will be raining because I have a track day at Motorsport Ranch

 

Since I actually didn't give up my G35 as of today, it looks like I will be making the event at Pasado's, My name is Domenic and I will be in the Black 2004 G35c 5AT. See you guys there! I'm bringing the camera so I'm going to be taking lots of pics!
