My first EX sighting...
I saw an EX (dark blue) for the first time today while driving to work on the freeway. IMO, it looked a lot better to me in the photos. I'm sure the interior is awesome (just like my 07 sedan), but the exterior (especially the back) didn't immediately float my boat. BUT, out of all the "crossover" vehicles out there, the EX is definitely one of the better ones... Also, I would think it drives really well, almost car-like?

I am stuck between MB C300 and EX35. So I stopped by at local dealer to take a fully loaded EX35 for a test drive this afternoon. The design is great with refined details. Voice-command NAV is a fun to play with and user friendly, I definitely love this function. 360-degree camera is a very cool feature that keeps you aware of nearby objects and reduces the chance of scratching. The driving quality is pretty nice. I was impressed by how well the suspension works on bumpy road and avoids the car bouncing around. In-carbon noise seems a lot higher than my expectation. It is even higher than 06 Murano I test drove before. I personally do not think Infiniti should put VQ35 HR engine in EX35, I really felt that the car lacks torque below 3000rpm and the shift point is higher than last generation VQ engine. Considering it is not a car you will alway rev the engine for speed, Infiniti should refine the engine for better torque at lower RPM. I was a bit disappointed because even with remarkable interior design, I can feel and tell how cheap the materials Infiniti use once I sit in the car. The in-carbin door handles are wrapped by leather, but I can noticably feel the hollow inside while I grabbed them.
