yea..about a 100 cells

Sorry ..had to!

The 400 cell HFC's are ceramic cores and the 300 cell are Metallic core. You will get more flow with the 300 cell, more sound change, and increased longevity. The metallics are recommended for most modified cars, especially FI'd cars.

Another easy one for ya. The front 2 cylinders on the plenum are basically starved for air. If you look at the plenum, you'll see that it is angled to the front of the car. There is more space for the rear cylinders than the font ones.

This was done for hood clearance by Nissan/Infiniti and did not pose a real power robbing affect, as far as they were concerned. What this did, was present a wonderful aftermarket product spectrum to resolve the manufacturers defect, as it could be called.

Spacer add space between the bottom collector and the top of the plenum, thereby increasing total air volume, and the ability for the front cylinders to get more air, as they should have to begin with.

The spacers are made in varying widths, by several manufacturers. The best to get is the Motordyne. The 5/16 or the 1/2" are the way to go. With the 1/2" though, your stock engine cover will not fit, so some either leave the plenum as is, or have it polished while it's off to show of the engine a bit.

PM Hydrazine - that's Tony from Motordyne or hit up his website and various vendors that now carry his products.
