Is a gasket needed for installing this? Do you guys sell the extra hardware needed for an 06 X?

For the 06 you should be good to go. for 03-04 you will need the hangers form first post.
Reuse the gasket.

Really? I thought from what I read on this that it was the other way around (03-04 direct bolt on, 05-06 needs the bracket and hangers)???
