how loud is it inside the cabin, like on normal driving, is there any drone whatsoever?

 

if you're 5at, it will drone, but not too bad

 

ya I have 5at. how bad is the drone? would some dynamat or something in the trunk help?

 

also, do you have this on a 5at? like do you know this from experience, or how do u know

 

The drone in the Auto is very minimal. When I mean minimal, it just resonates for a few seconds at mid r's. Maybe someone has a video of how it sounds inside?

ya ive been searching for videos inside a 5AT with the intimidator setup but cant find any. why would it only resonate in a 5AT and not the 6MT?

 

ok i'm not going to lie to you guys, you can choose for yourself. I have the FI exhaust with FI HFC 300 cell metalic and I'm 5at. there is drone around 2500-3000 rpm if i've not mistaken, you should not hit that with 5at when you're doing local streets, so Eddie is right on that. BUT here's the thing, when you do highway cruising, anything higher than 60mph, you'll start to reach 2500-3000rpm on 5th gear and you'll hear it for sure.

 

ok. well i have the XO2 right now, it drones pretty bad. i have a FI polished stainless coming in the mail to me right now from another user on this site, so i guess i will let everybody know what i think about it when i install it. nevertheless, i am incredibly pumped about my FI exhaust. my girlfriend has been telling me to shut up about it because ive been talking about it non stop sense the payment. i cant wait

 

haha yeh the FI sounds pretty good, especially when you zoom pass a parking lot, can scare ppl LOL
