bought the cats a year ago and they bad already. not good

 

Well that is not good! This is the first I have heard of it. There are a number of things that could cause this. The obvious is to blame the cats themselves. But if we step back and survey the entire situation there may be other reasons. For example, what is the A/F mixture at on the car? What other modifications does the car have? Is it Supercharged or Turbocharged? Is it a G35 with the infamous "oil consumption issue?"
