will this fit a 2006 6mt sedan?

 

lowboy72 - i have to say that this kit will not work on a sedan, and that is due to the headers not fitting. the test pipes will fit no problem.

now, on a side note, I have been told by other forum members here that these headers will fit on a sedan, but we have never test fitted them before, nor has Strup. So, it would be a buy at your own risk deal if you decided to go for it. Worst case if the headers don't fit, you have yourself a set of test pipes. And you shouldn't have too much trouble selling the headers yourself to a coupe owner or Z owner.

If anyone is serious about trying out this kit on your sedan, shoot me a PM and maybe we can work out a better deal.

hey everyone. yes, the deal is still available, but the headers are on backorder from Strup until the end of this month last I heard. We are accepting pre-orders for anyone interested in getting in on this deal.

yes, the test pipes are available separately and they're on sale too for only $179.95. the test pipes will make any of the G35 exhausts louder, since they are eliminating the cats, which also serve as a silencer.

do you have to lift the engine to install these headers?

 

hey Dieselnuts - no, not at all. Some of our customers have installed these on their car in their garage with some basic hand tools on jack stands. Of course, that's not the ideal circumstances since it's rather tight under that engine, but it can be done, and you do not have to lift the engine or lower the trans to install them. Performance gains are comparable to everything else on the market, and in some cases even beats other competitors!
