OEM Carbon Fiber hood, g35 sedan 03/04
This is the hood that was flung open when my hood release took a ****. So yes, there is 2 little chunks out of each edge where it hits the fenders and a small noticeable pressure crack in the middle (not noticeable from 2 feet away) it has also started to split from the pressure crack, but it's not in too bad of shape and will bolt on flawlessly.
The hood still looks pretty solid, if you were to do what Chris and so many other told me to do (paint the curved edges body colour) that it would be extremely easy to correct the flawed edges.
This is a one off peice made by my carbon guy, glass backed carbon laid. Back is sprayed black and has seamless carbon. Weighs about 2 lbs less than stock.
I want $400 for it or a trade for something cool. Located in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. Probably not worth anyone's time to ship it but will do so upon request.
Pictures aren't great sorry, but if you need better ones let me know.
Pressure crack is there, but just a fine line...
Passenger side, these knicks are maybe the size of a penny at the very most.
Drivers side
Center, with flash
As you can see the carbon work is pretty amazing, it did more work to the metal than it did the carbon lol
