are the latches necessary? is it safe to be used with the existing hood latch?

hey guys... this is for a coupe. FITMENT IS PERFECT.... you have to know how to align the hood when installing... trial and error type stuff. the latches aren't necessary for a CF hood... but necessary for this hood because they're installed already.

location: Riverside, CA

shipping: NO... shipping this CF hood might result in it coming in pieces.

does it have the original latch to attach? I would be looking to get it painted so I could get the latch holes filled anyway. will it will work if the latches are removed?
