So a 2006 sport package rear mudguard wouldn't fit on my 2005? I thought the bumper shape was exactly the same so the mudguards would be too.

 

so as long as your 2005 was a sport, with the sport side sills, in theory I guess they would fit,
I have to go based off the year and type vehicle when looking up the accesories, someone might know better if they'd fit, but if the 2005 isn't a sport, there's no chance the 2006 Sports ones, would fit
however the 2006 sports ones, have been discontinued, and it's the 2005 non sport that are available, so I don't think they'd be able to work for you

 

I believe the "sport" only had a different front bumper and sideskirts.... I BELIEVE the rear bumpers were the same. So in theory the front mudgaurds would be different but the rear bumper mudguards wouldn't. The ones I have are off of an 04 non-sport BTW so they will fit

 

Wait I am so confused right now, it seems like you're talking about front mudguards, the ones that attach onto the side skirts. I'm trying to buy some rear ones, the ones that attach onto the rear bumper, and aren't they all the same? Even with different part numbers the shape should still be the same, correct?

 

I know there is a sport and nonsport front bumper and sideskirt, but someone correct me please if there is a sport rear bumper as well because i feel like im getting trolled to the max by this guy

the Rear splash guards you ordered, are discontinued, not available,
the 2005 Rear splash guards ARE available, but only the non sport
999J2-JSQX1Y4 that is what you ordered that's Sports
999J2-JPQX1D4 that's the OEM for the rear non-sports which now
is 999J2-JR000D4 which are unpainted,
I don't know if they would fit or not, they are different numbers OEM so I would say there's some difference, but I don't know for sure

 

Well that kinda clears things up. They're only different in part numbers and nothing else.

 

Hey Phil, I am looking for a set of the rear mudguards for an 06' sport g35 coupe. If I read correctly, you guys have these painted for 125? If so could you PM me so I can get a pair ordered asap?

I just bought an official OEM unpainted set of 05 FRONT splash guards for 61 shipped on ebay from an infiniti dealership today. He still has rears available if you search. They're unpainted, but I'm sure you could find someone to paint them locally somewhere.
