FS: Coupe Sport Bumper and Sides

selling my 06 sport front bumper (Brilliant Silver/Liquid Platinum) and side skirts. everything is in pretty good condition basic wear and tear nothing major. Still has good paint. Has your basic scraping on the bottom lip. bumper has no major cracks or missing pieces, same goes for the skirts. Bumper does not come with grill, side markers or any hardware. there is a spot about an inch-2 long where the paint peeled from removing the rock chip peel that I touched up with Nissan paint (yes the color code of the car) it's on the bottom of one of the skirts (pic below) and its barely noticeable, it looks much worse in the picture as I am not using the best camera. Only 1 skirt is shown in the pictures because I did not have the other one with me at the time but they are in the same condition. Sorry for the crappy pics.

UPDATE: NOW AVAILABLE

bumper: $325
sides: $225

Prices are FIRM.

I desperately need an 06 sports bumper but I also need it in DG. For $400, I can just get one new/unpainted. Darn.

...

way under 400. maybe cause i work at a dealership and i get it at cost, plus all the paint venders trying to keep business. they always hook it up. so for me 400 way too high. glws though.

Yes, new unpainted OEM 06 sports bumper, and I actually just got one today for $340 + tax due to a very nice dealership that gave me a discount on one they had in stock. A body shop owes me a favor so they're painting and mounting it for free, so I'm all good! Phew. I'm in SoCal.

IMO I wouldn't pay a shop to fit and mount my front...the hardest part is making sure you reuse all the damn screws and clips before it's already on lol. Pretty simple to do yourself-may save you $

At least in my experience so far here in LA, the shops don't charge extra for mounting OEM/direct-fit bumpers. They charge for the painting, and then just mount the bumper as a courtesy. Every time I've done this, they'll also drill license plate holes for free, too, if you want them.

But yes, I've also mounted a few different bumpers by myself, and I agree that the OEM ones are super easy. There really aren't even that many screws and clips...just put them back where you took the old ones out. Still, I think it's best to have two people to hold each end while you're working so you don't accidentally scratch your fenders/headlights if one end sags, but with painter's tape on the fenders/lights beforehand, I've definitely managed to do it on my own (and I'm a girl, lol).

Again in my limited experience so far, aftermarket ones are trickier just because of various degrees of fitment issues--you have to be fairly creative sometimes to get them to attach, so that's when a shop will charge you extra for mounting, depending on how creative they need to be. Personally, I'm never going with an aftermarket bumper again because they are so frustrating--especially fiberglass! I've left little bits and pieces of fiberglass scraping all over Los Angeles. :P Ever since I found the 06 OEM Sport bumper, which resembles the FG AIT I-Spec I loved so much and put up with for so long, I've never looked back!!

Anyway, I think the OP was referring to a quote he'd received for mounting an aftermarket bumper....?

Ya that quote was for fitment, removing then painting, and re installing an Inven bumper. I've taken my bumper on and off before i know it's easy but that price is mainly for paint and (god forbid) any fitment issues on the aftermarket bumper...i'd rather pay for the no hassle factor.

Is rather sell locally. You can check on shipping if you'd like using whichever carrier from the San Diego area to give you a rough idea. I'm sure it's gonna be pricey though.
