Blech..I've filled in **** like that with bondo before and it sucks. Big dent in my old motorcycle tank. So much sanding and filling and waiting and sanding and waiting and filling. If rather buy the aftermarket.

Plus, wouldn't that just put a flat black spot in the front? I would want it to be all uniform.

I've contemplated emblemless but with a classy color like LS it looks cheap imo

The trick was, Don't follow the DIY. Instead, buy a 2nd broken grill off ebay and cut part out with the bump and mold that in. I gave my body guy $150 and 2 grills, I got one back painted and perfect. (Had emblemless on my G35 and G37)
