Coupe Headlight Covers, Broken aftermarket headlights

I've got a working set of cheap aftermarket headlights I'm planning to use for a budget retrofit. The outside cover/lenses however are crazed beyond repair. Does anybody have a broken set of aftermarket headlights lying around with good covers i can use for parts?

If you want output with a great color band you should really stick to Oem lenses, as the aftermarket lenses will distort output enough to notice. My lenses (eBay) look good, but the output is meh at best.

Oh, I totally agree OEM is the way to go - but $600 is way too much for a set of headlights considering mine still work fine. If I wanted to upgrade something on my car for $600, it would go straight into suspension parts.

My plan is to pick up a pair of the ACME Super H1 projectors (Morimoto Mini H1 5.0) from TRS for $50 and retrofit them into my current EBay housings. I'm sure the light output isn't going to be top tier, but they've got to have better light output in every way than the terrible Ebay projectors I have now. This is a "while I'm in there" upgrade since I'm planning on repainting my bumper and fixing some rust, so the car will be sitting anyways.

I'm just trying to find new used headlight covers because mine are beyond refinishing and look like crap with lots of little cracks that can't be sanded out. I figured since EBay headlights are such crap, somebody has to have a broken set lying around with perfectly good uncracked covers they were going to throw away otherwise.

I have two sets in the basement I’ll go through later tonight when I get home. I just bought a set of super H1’s for a project. They are great little projectors!

I actually have a set of G35 projectors in one I haven’t gotten around to color modding yet.

That's a G35 projector in a motorcycle?? Far out.

I won't be buying these for another month or so (finals are here, and I'm in engineering school), but I wanted to leave this ad up for awhile so I'd have a greater chance of finding someone with some minty covers.
