Quote: As far as getting bump during parking , it doesn't matter if it's PU or fiber .. the paint and clear coat will come off.
Yeah, but with Poly, it will just dent in and pop back out like w/the factory bumper. Sure there will be some spider webbing w/the clear, but the bumper wont be shattered like it would be w/Glass.

Just to let you know, there have been slight fitment issues on the automotivemods front bumper....like Ravspec said, doesn't matter if its f/g or urethane when it comes to fitment, just matters how well it was fitted and prototyped during production.

Quote: I decided not to go w/fiberglass because of fitment issues and the fact that if someone bumps you in a parkinglot, your whole bumper turns to $hit. If the car isnt your daily driver, then go for it. Mine is DD, so I'm going the Poly route....for the front bumper anyway...

you are both right for the most part, but if it isnt perfect, it is easier to get the poly to fit right.

The only positive side towards FRP is the fact that it is easy to fix if your qualified to do so. Urethane is very difficult to fix and have it look like OEM quality, because when it does crack (tear) it's usually pretty bad.
