Has anybody with this grille figured a way to mount the stock emblem? I know people have used the rear trunk emblem and just stuck it to the mesh with the adhesive tape but I want to use the front emblem. It's bigger and has the depth to come out to the edge of the hood where it would be with the stock grille.

Any ideas?
I read this ENTIRE thread (the grill and installs look great!) and also wondered about this as an option or if someone has used the front emblem. I am pretty interested in the grill but would like to have that front emblem on there. I guess the other rear emblem wouldn't be TOO bad but any suggestions or help on this would be great. Thanks!

I put the emblem (350GT) but same concept. 3M makes a plastic emblem glue that works pretty good (I know that the emblems have glue already but it is not strong enough IMO). Since the opening has a mesh style surface there is not a lot of surface area for the eblem to stick. So I used in addition to the glue, Picture frame wires. It is really small gauge but it is pretty much unnoticable on the small 350 GT eblem at about 2 feet away. So it should work perfect for the Infiniti eblem which is 4 times larger. Also you have to use the trunk emblem vs the stock grill emblem. The stock grill emblem is not flat. You would have to cut out the mesh and secure it differently.

Thanks for the input. I already purchased a new rear badge and will look into the picture frame wires and extra glue. Last thing I want is to lose the front emblem at high speeds or something. Thanks again.

Just put the wire on the top of the Mt Fuji. No one will ever see it there. And to like a twist tie in teh back and then cut oof the excess wire or you could even leave it.
