Jose, just received my grill today, seems fine, except I thought I was supposed to receive 3M tape for the under side of grill with the package? if not, i'll make trip to oreilley's

No the double sided tape is not included and really not needed, I never used any on my coupe

Thanks for the fast shipping and smooth transaction. My grill arrived last Tuesday but unfortunately haven't been able to install it yet. I'm being hindered, severely, by the unexpected tardiness of other exterior parts. I'll post pics of the grill when everything is done.

 

Hey, I just installed my grill yesterday and wanted to say its a very high improvement on cosmetic wise.
BUT i have a problem!! please help Jose!
I installed my grill using single layer of 3M tape on the bottom of the grill, but did not peel one of the sticky side, so its not attached on the bumper but attached to the bottom of the grill and only serves as "cushioning" support, so the bottom of the grill/and top of bumper wont get scratched up. The hole was somewhat off, but managed to mount it.

Here is my problem. now whenever I drive, I hear wind whistling noise comming from the grill, just like when you have your windows down slightly and makes the wind whistling noise...
its very annoying..It seems like my installation was incorrect? what did I do wrong?
The whistling noise is so loud that I can hear it with my window up..
Anyone else had this problem? I really want to correct this problem..please someone help..

 

The whistling noise should be because of the double sided tape not being attached to the bottom side of the bumper. If you were worried about having the grill scratch your bumper then I would suggest using the clear bra material on that section of the bumper and not the double sided tape since that will create a gap where air can get through and cause that kind of sound.

hey guys!!, I took off all the double sided tapes, and ran the grill without anything except obviously the tabs on the top.
guess what, its still making wind whistling noise.. I have 350gt emblem on the grill.. but i dont think thats the cause of the whistling noise.. help me out~!! even took out my arc panel..
